It is important to wear the armor of God daily as it protects us against Satan's attacks. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, stand. NONE of these six pieces of armor require power on OUR part as Jesus Christ HAS ALREADY WON OUR VICTORY through his sacrificial death on the cross. We only have to put on the effective armor He has given us.
